Transform the discarded into enduring sculptural works of art!
My inclusive upcycled paper sculpture workshops invite people of all ages and abilities to transform discarded paper, cardboard and egg cartons into unique, enduring sculptural forms. Designed to accommodate a range of support needs, including Deaf and hard of hearing participants, sensory processing differences, diverse communication styles and fine motor challenges, each workshop is adapted to support meaningful participation and creative expression.
Workshops can run over one to three days. One day sessions focus on projects with minimal drying time, allowing participants to complete and take home their work on the day, while two to three day workshops allow for more involved sculptural processes and the creation of lasting pieces to be enjoyed for years to come.
Using upcycled materials, binding agents for durability and paint to finish each piece, participants explore sustainability and the circular economy through hands on making. These workshops are also ideal for organisations seeking a meaningful team building experience, bringing people together around a shared creative process. After all, some of the best conversations happen around the art table, where busy hands and less pressure for eye contact can help conversation flow naturally.
